Holy Wind Batman

Ok...can you say WIND! It is crazy windy, chilly and rainy out today. I guess I am glad that my office has no windows then I don't have to look and be depressed. I hope everyone is doing good. Of course the Kuempel's are keeping busy as usual. Maybe I start from eldest to youngest this time around...this is including parents...

PK: Well, Paul is great as usual. Keeping busy at work and doing great things to the garage. Watching football and playing with the kids...fun times as usual. Paul and I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage on Thursday the 28th...man, how does time fly. Good times.

EK: Well, that would be me. I am keeping busy with work...would like to be a little busier but that will come. The next 2-3 years I will be getting a lot more and new education on different types of massage...I think my 1st conference will take PK and I to AZ not only to learn Thai massage but to get to see our great friends. Other things. I was able to go on a field trip with Kade a couple of weeks ago and tomorrow the 27th I will be able to go to Kai's school Halloween party. Which we should never tell them about trick or treating until the day before! Ok last thing that is on our minds PK and I go see our beloved Hawkeyes this Saturday. Terrible loss last week, but we will get them this week. A great way to celebrate our Anniversary.

Kai Preston: Kai has come out of is shell a lot these last couple of months. I think school has helped a lot. Being there 2 full days he is learning more and making good friends. He is a signing machine. He is so cute! He got his school pictures taken and they turned out great. I will scan print and send them out. I still can't get over he is going to be 5 in 2 months. He is going to be a monkey for halloween. Again...pictures to come. He asks constantly about grandparents and where everyone is at...oh and obsessed with spelling I think I spelled everything they could think of last night for a good 45 minutes....and I am a horrible speller.

Kade Even: well, our little man is a interesting fella. He is so funny and has a great imagination. He tells stories you have no clue what they mean or where they came from. He is learning a lot good & bad from Kai. Oh and the attitude and the lip. God help us!!! He is loving school and I love seeing him grow and count and recognizing letters. He loves to sing and is catching on. I think we tend to forget that he is only 3. He had a great time at the field trip to our local dairy farm. He loves to snuggle....what a cutie.

Forgot to mention we went to the zoo! I love that place. I am tempted to moving to Des Moines to just get a pass there.

Well, I will post more soon. Off to work I go + clean, grocery shop and everything else I can fit into a crazy day. Love to you all!!!

Well, the chex mix is made 6 dozen cookies baked. Now just waiting to leave around 1 to one of our favorite spots....yep Kinnick!
Boys will stay busy...thank you daycare Deb for taking the boys until Grams can pick them up after the UNI game and spend the night with them. Also thank you Grandpa Bob for helping us out with Koda.

Family...time

Well, it has been brought to my attention that I have slacked at my bog posting and this person is right. It is so easy to do and everyone wants to hear about the boys...but I will try to be better. Or PK can remind me more often....hint hint.
It is a gorgeous Thursday and the boys, Koda and I are at the park. Today Kade had school which he loves and I swear he has a girlfriend named Zoe. That is all he talks about. He is doing good, but gets a little sad and misses mom, dad, Kai & Koda. We will be going in a field trip to a dairy farm in a couple of weeks. I am really excited & Kade is going to freakout because he gets to ride on a school bus. Fun times!
So, when Kade is at school on Thursdays it's just Kai and me. Today wasn't as good as usual. Let's just say way late night (he didn't want to go to bed) and going to school 2 full days a week...he is tired and we were having some issues, but we worked them out. He is liking school and he is finally eating after going on a hunger strike for a couple of weeks. He loves his teachers. We have conferences tomorrow, so we will see how it goes.
PK and I are busy as usual. Our daycare lady's sister passed, so our hearts are heavy for Deb. Also prayers go out to my mother in law who is on her way to Madagascar for mission work. That lady truly amazes me!
Well, I will blog soon oh and I will get pictures up with a link. God Bless! Oh and Go Hawks! PK & I will be at homecoming this weekend. We also get to see our great friend Jamie...YAY!

KC Getaway

Big Boy Kai

GeoTagged, [N42.49435, E92.46908]

So, we had to make a hard decision this year and worst of all last minute. 4 CF schools just got grants to have preschools in 4 elementary schools. I was hoping to get him into Southdale...that is where he will go to school, but that was full, so we went to another one. This program is suppose to be great and on top of it..it is free. Which is a huge savings for us. The other good thing is he will be going 2 full days and I think this will better prepare him for kindergarten. He is getting so big so fast. I will keep you posted on his 1st day.
