Paul, the boys, Koda and I traveled to Truro yesterday to see my Grandparents and celebrate their 60 years together a little early! Halloween in the big date. We had so much fun! We played soccer and football and we got to see Andrea and Bryce. I can't express how happy I am for my grandparents. I love them more then words.
As you can tell from this picture Kade was tired!

Today Paul is digging a basketball hoop. We are excited. I have good memories going up shooting hoops with Andrea and my friends. Honestly this is a bigger process then slapen a hoop onto the garage. I will post pictures when its up.

Some how it is always an early Sunday when you live with Kade. At least I get my kitchen cleaned up and enjoy a little quite time w/our youngest. He loves playing candy land, so that's what we are doing this morning. Oh and not sure if his hair can get any crazier?!

I love the days where boys are just boys. I am hanging out in the basement watching the boys play wii. I just love the conversations they have with each other. they get mad then I tell them they have to take turns, but it is all worth it. I love them just being young and care-free!

2nd day much better. Found out Kai likes cold lunch and he told me he wouldn't be sad today. Success in my book. Allison our college student came to see where to pick Kai up from school. We are so excited to have found her. She will pick up the boys from school M-W and stay with them till either pk or I get home. Well, we are excited for the weekend. Last movie

We have lucked out for the last 2 months. Our theaters have run a 10:00 movie for $2...kids movies. We have seen every movie but 2. We saved a lot money and the boys have had so much fun. I am sad this is the last one.
We are also very excited the weather has turned cool and the windows can be open. School will start next week for Kai and next month for Kade. Time goes wat too fast!!! I am sad and at the same time our lil guys are getting so big.

Finally...cool weather

Summer?!

Man, where does the time go? We were at the park a couple days ago...it was one of our less humid days. The boys rode their bikes down to the park and I walked behind with our lunches. I love these memories I get to make. Everyone is doing great. PK is busy as always. I am busy with work and new adventures! And on to the important people. Both Kai & Kade are taking swim lessons and both have excelled. So proud! And thank god they are almost done. Kai will start Kindergarden on the 18th and Kade will start Pre-K on Sept 14th. We are currently looking for a college student to help us pick up the boys and hang out till we can get home. I hope everyone is happy and healthy...I know we all are. Love & Miss xoxo

Field trip....

Ok never experienced this before. I went on a field trip with Kai and the whole bus was full of harnesses. I truly understand the safety of our kids, but this was extreme. You put them on with their arms through the front and the you zip them up the back, but there is still more...you then clip them to their seat. Now we were thinking what happens if we were in an accident...how the heck would we get these kids out. All I can say is we all made it safe to the museum to learn about bubbles...the quote of the trip the kids kept asking why they were wearing parachutes. Love little kids.

Crazy Hair Day

Kai's school class had a crazy hair day. So, I dropped him off and the teacher asked if she could spray it....sure why not my husband has a mustache...let's just add on to the family fun! Well, I picked him up and yep it was bright green! I loved it, but yes harder then I thought to get out, but again another fun memory.

Movie with the family

What a good Friday! Pk took a 1/2 day of work off...came home and shaved off his mustache and we took the boys to Kung Fu Panda 2. It was such a good movie. Oh and it was so nice to see my husbands face again. Fun memories!

This has been an interesting couple of days! My lord can the rain stay away? So this afternoon it is cloudy, but dry. The boys are out back with daddy practicing with their new fishing poles. It's crazy how the boys are so different. This is Kai playing his DS...he can't get enough of video games. We have to limit the time, but we are always getting asked to play. I am sitting on the couch writing this and I can hear Kade in the toy area playing and talking to his toys. I love it. I love his little conversation with his toys. I am going to be sad when all he wants to do is play video games. Happy Easter!

Soccer???

Well, out 1st night of soccer...not a success. Our oldest (eldest..not sure the right grammar) child is shy as all get out. I am really not sure where he got this from. So, the 1st night of soccer he decided to sit out. We weren't happy about this but not sure what else to do. I found out at the end of practice we can run the field with the kids. This might make a huge difference. I will keep you posted. On the other hand we have Kade...he is too young to play in this camp, but he is so excited to play. Next week 1 one of us will play with Kai and the other will take an extra ball and get kade worn out. Official soccer parents?! We will see next Sunday :) EK

Good morning! I downloaded a new camera application on my phone and you can play with the look of the pictures. I love it! So you might get a lot of pictures..I know you won't mind :) so funny I was showing pk these pictures and he made the comment that...remember everyone hated those old fading pictures and here we are trying to recreate them.
Well, we have a gloomy day and the boys are tired. I made pancakes and sausage for them. Now off to beg my mom to watch the boys so I can go for a run...which will be one of the last times I will have to since we ordered a new treadmill that will be here on Monday! We are very excited! Sorry no excuse on not updating my blog. Laziness is my excuse. Quick update...holidays flew by and with our luck we had the flu, but still great to be together.
Kai is doing great in school and is finally drinking his milk..this has been a struggle for us for many years. He loves school, his teachers and his friends. He is into playing video games and puzzles and growing by the day!
Kade...he is our comic relief! This kid is so funny. My gosh he keeps us laughing. I am not sure where he comes up with most of his stuff. He loves school.
Paul and I are great. Just busy with work and the boys. I will post pictures and send the links to everyone. Love to all and please keep warm! EK
